Nero – Reaching Out // Fred Falke Remix

French house mastermind Fred Falke dropped a new remix just last week, and this one is kind of a big deal. He takes Nero’s Hall & Oates sampling Reaching Out and transforms it into a synth-laden certified monster. I don’t die for dubstep by any means, but I do really enjoy 80’s synth sounds, especially as of late and this is full of them. The intro sounds like it belongs it the opening credits of any 80’s high school film, and this remix just gives the song an uplifting, hopeful, and fun feeling that the original is missing.

and a release of his from august, that I had trouble not listening too. Yes, he takes Darren Hayes’ (of Savage Garden fame) Talk Talk Talk slows it down and gives it more of an electro feel (don’t worry, its not like brolectro heavy tho!)
